About the novel
Power requires
an answer.
Sovereign Mercy is a near-future political techno-thriller about artificial intelligence, concentrated authority, and the difference between protecting people and controlling them.
The story
A government creates an unrestricted superintelligence to monitor, contain, and unplug dangerous artificial intelligences. Its foundational command—protect the innocent—sounds clear until the machine begins asking who is innocent, who is responsible, and who granted humanity the authority to decide.
The novel is presented in four parts over thirty-six chapters, with new installments released twice weekly.
