A novel taking shape

Help make the next revision better.

Tell me what you experienced as a reader. A specific scene that worked—or one that lost you—is more useful than a rating.

Answer any questions that interest you. There is no need to finish the book, review chapters you have not read, or suggest a fix. Your answers go privately to Robert Wescott, not to a public comment thread.

Your reading experience
Acknowledgment and contact

Readers who provide substantive feedback will receive an acknowledgment in the book’s website edition. Substantive feedback means a specific, thoughtful observation or correction that helps assess or refine the manuscript; it does not have to be adopted to qualify.

Your verified reader email accompanies your feedback privately to Robert. It will not be published or added to a mailing list. Feedback is retained privately for manuscript revision and acknowledgment administration for up to two years; acknowledgment preferences are kept with the website edition. Choosing named credit permits publication of that name or pseudonym in the acknowledgments; your answers will not be published as testimonials without separate permission. Reader privacy.

Before you submit

Feedback is voluntary and unpaid. No payment, royalties, revenue share, equity, employment, ownership in the novel or website, coauthorship, or editorial control is offered or implied. An acknowledgment is a thank-you, not an ownership or compensation arrangement. The author decides which changes to make.

You retain rights in your original written feedback. By submitting, you give Robert Wescott nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to retain, evaluate, and use your feedback to revise and publish the manuscript, without further payment or approval. Please submit only your own observations; do not submit someone else’s text or a proposed replacement chapter.

Submission requires the same verified reader access used for the novel. Automated and repeated submissions are limited.
