Reading analytics
If you choose “Allow reader analytics,” this site loads PostHog to measure which pages and chapters your browser visits, whether you reach the middle or end of a chapter page, whether you click the next chapter, and whether you return. Campaign tags in links may tell us how you arrived. A browser cookie helps count return visits; PostHog also receives ordinary technical information needed to handle these requests.
We use these measurements to understand how people follow Sovereign Mercy. Reaching the bottom of a page does not prove someone read every word. We do not send your mailing-list email address to PostHog, use form-field autocapture, or record your screen. The mailing list is stored separately on the site’s server.
Choosing “No thanks” keeps the PostHog script from loading. You can change your choice using “Reader privacy settings” at the bottom of the site. If you withdraw consent after allowing it, tracking stops on that browser; previously collected aggregate data is not automatically removed. Browser settings or extensions may also block tracking. This means the analytics are estimates, not a count of every reader.

Reader feedback
The feedback form uses the same verified reader access as the novel. Feedback, your verified email and acknowledgment preference are stored privately on the Pi and sent to Robert at [email protected] through the existing Resend email service. Feedback does not subscribe you to a mailing list. Only the acknowledgment name or pseudonym you expressly choose may be published; answers are not published as testimonials without separate permission.
Private answer text and the associated email are retained for up to two years on the server, then removed. Minimal acknowledgment choices remain with the website edition. Emails delivered to the author’s mailbox may be retained separately. Temporary form tokens and request-limit records expire after one day. You may request deletion or withdrawal of named credit by contacting [email protected].
If you choose to save a draft while verifying, it is saved in this browser, expires after two hours, and is removed after successful submission. Expired drafts are discarded on your next visit. Feedback answers and acknowledgment names are not sent to reader analytics.
