My favorite reader and conspiracy theorist—whether she’s watching drones over New Jersey, tracking flights, or studying seismic activity, she’s always looking for the detail that doesn’t quite fit.

Lately, she’s been reading voraciously, devouring anything she can get her hands on. A few weeks ago, she mentioned that she was running out of things to read.

I had this story in mind and thought, “I’ll just write her something.”
